A new coffeehouse has opened in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle, offering “unparalleled quality in food and drink.” Seattle is well-known for its abundance of established and highly-regarded coffee houses, so why should we give this one a try? What’s different? EVOKE COFFEE strives for brilliance in every dual-insulated cup, and there’s how:
HEART COFFEE is a Portland-based coffee roaster and the source and chosen-roastery for this hip, new establishment. But, what is Heart Coffee? Their self-determined motivation is simple: uncompromising quality. By shifting the focus from profit to quality, they’re able to develop complex flavors, using the best beans sourced from predominately Central America, South America, and Africa. From the heart-coffee, is from just that: the heart.
Not only does Evoke Coffee use specialty beans, but they hand-made the syrups used in their beverages, creating an exquisite taste that isn’t racked with fillers and unfavorable ingredients. Their food menu also leans towards the healthier side, including things toasts, sandwiches, and acai bowls; but, don’t worry, they’ve the usual decadent pastries, too! Enjoy their industrial-chic aesthetic, with minimalist spaces and unique, Edison-inspired light fixtures.
Coupled with well-honed baristas and specialty flavors, these unique properties combine to create an amazing experience; and although it’s only been open a few weeks, we’re excited to see there this place takes Seattle coffee.
